Technical Requirements
Since ACT Essay prompts are relatively predictable, you can do some of your own essay planning before the test to save yourself time and stress. Choose concrete examples from art, history, literature, and/or personal experience; try not to use hypothetical or vague examples to support your points. To determine if your test site has enough computers to test all your examinees, use the formula below. number of devices x number of days you plan to test in the window = examinee capacity. Note: For State and District testing, there are 6 days available in the online testing window. In June 2020, the ACT announced that they would be adding new fall test dates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the new test dates, all students will be able to register for existing non-Saturday test dates in September and October. These new test dates are indicated in bold below. Registration for these dates opens in July. The ACT exam is a national admissions test commonly used by colleges and universities to help determine applicant eligibility. The exam is divided into four subject area tests that cover English. Assertive community treatment (ACT) is an intensive and highly integrated approach for community mental health service delivery. ACT teams serve individuals with the most serious forms of mental illness, predominantly but not exclusively the schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
